VAGINAL HEAVINESS OR BULGE SENSATION

CORRECTION OF PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE

Pelvic prolapse is an area of weakness in the vaginal wall that allows for organs to sag.

Many patients describe the following symptoms:

  • vaginal heaviness

  • a visible bulge outside the vagina

  • difficulty with bowel movements

  • difficulty with urination

  • a sense of things out of place, especially at the end of the day

Many options for treatment exist, ranging from physical therapy to multiple surgical treatments depending on the severity of the prolapse.  To me, nothing matters more than your health and comfort, which is why I’ve put in so much time and effort into advancing my surgical techniques.
